The Committee shall be composed of a Chair, Chair-elect (in alternating years), Division Vice-Presidents, Chief of the Editorial Board and Managing Editor (Executive Director). The Chair-elect shall be appointed by the President of CAHPERD with the approval of the Board of Directors for a one-year term of office. The subsequent year the Chair-elect becomes the Chair and shall serve a two-year term.

WHAT?

To review existing literature (e.g., books, abstracts, position statements) for possible inclusion in CAHPERD publications.
To maintain a list of all CAHPERD publications (e.g., membership brochure, flyers and CAHPERD Journal/Times) and pertinent information concerning each (e.g., cost, utilization and status).
To inform membership of existing CAHPERD publications.
To make recommendations concerning publications to the Board of Directors.
To work with the Managing Editor (Executive Director) in planning, implementing and evaluating publications.
To provide consulting services to CAHPERD substructures, if requested.

WHEN?

The Publications Committee shall meet annually at the State Conference. Special meetings may be called by the Editor, if approved by the President of CAHPERD.
