Meghan Jinguji

Meghan Jinguji, BA, MAT

VP, Girls & Women in Sport Division

Email: mhguji@surewest.net

Neghan has been teaching middle school physical education for 10 years. Her invaluable leadership within middle school physical education has led the Antelope Crossing Middle School Physical Education Department’s recognition as a 2008 NAPSE Stars Program and 2007 CAHPERD Middle School Program of the Year. Her personal honors include Placer County Office of Education Educator of the Year and CLMS Region 3 Teacher of the Year finalist. Her leadership and dedication to the implementation and support of heart rate monitors in physical education was exemplified by her being featured on CNN’s American Morning.

Since the completion of her MA in Teaching at the University of Puget Sound, Meghan has served on numerous district and state curriculum and instruction committees that support the professional development of physical educators and high quality, standards-based physical education programs. Meghan continues her service to the greater physical education community through her involvement in CAHPERD as the 2008-09 Vice President for Girls and Women in Sport and the Physical Education Health Project (CA State Subject Matter Project) as a teacher leader.
