Foundation for the Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles
The Foundation for the Promotion
of Healthy Lifestyles is a substructure of CAHPERD, a
tax exempt, non-profit corporation in the State of California
according to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Service Code.
The purpose of the Foundation is
to solicit and receive, by gift or otherwise, monies
and property, real and personal, to be held, managed
and used exclusively to further the goals of CAHPERD.
The Foundation
Board of Trustees is comprised of prominent
leaders in such fields as medicine, finance, business,
industry, politics, philanthropy, and education.
The Foundation was created to provide
a well-managed, diversified investment vehicle for endowments
that benefit the Association.
It’s easy to become a FRIEND
of the CAHPERD Foundation for the Promotion of Healthy
Lifestyles.
Any individual or company/corporation
that contributes to the Foundation, and/or any of its
projects, is automatically designated as a FRIEND
OF THE FOUNDATION. All subsequent
contributions are added to the first tax deductible donation
from each person, and when their total adds up to $1,000
(in the case of individual donor) or $10,000 (in the
case of company/corporation donor), such contributions
will receive special recognition, honors and the good
feeling of being a SPECIAL
FRIEND OF THE FOUNDATION.
