HOW TO ADVERTISE IN CAHPERD PUBLICATIONS

CAHPERD is an association of professional educators serving the allied fields of health education, physical education, recreation and dance.  Founded in 1929 as a California-based organization, we now serve over 3,500 members and are the only association in this state serving all four of these professional areas. Healthy, active lifestyles is what we are all about!

That's why our membership, as professionals, are interested in your services and products.  Together we are working to promote personal fitness and well being.

Our Publications

CAHPERD has three publications which accept advertising: a journal, a prospectus, and a conference program.  Total distribution of these publications ranges from 4,000 professional members in most mailings to almost 13,000 in occasional specific mailings that include all school campuses within our state.  Additionally, approximately 10% are mailed to other states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Europe and Asia.  Our current advertising rates and available ad sizes are provided for your consideration.

CAHPERD Journal

The CAHPERD Journal is an 8 1/2”x11” magazine format 4-color publication and is issued 3 times annually. You may choose to advertise in a single issue, but the best dollar value is for a full year (3 issues).

Prospectus

The annual Conference Prospectus is an 8 1/2”x 11” magazine format, 4-color publication similar to the CAHPERD Journal. However, the mailing/distribution is far greater, reaching more than 13,000 individuals and school campuses in the state highlighting session details, speakers, & other information for the upcoming CAHPERD Conference.

 Annual Conference Program

CAHPERD hosts a top-rated educational conference in early March each year. Attendance is generally expected to exceed 1500. The printed Conference Program is given to all registered participants. Commercial exhibitors who attend this conference are given a substantial discount for advertising space in this program.
